Happy Valentine's Day everyone... you never know where your dreams will take you. I'm spending the early part of the day with my Uncle Ernie (Knunk knunk) putting in some light work, but it hasn't always been that way. If PERSEVERANCE was a person I would have to give that award to my Uncle Ernie. While driving to today's adventure he told me about his last gig, which was for Shelby & Sandy (up and coming artists) known in the art industry. I was like WOW Unc that's awesome, I let him know (after reviewing their work) that they are Pop artists like Andy Warhol who was famous for recreating everyday items (like the Campbell's Soup can in their artwork) and their BRIGHT COLORS. He then told me that they made a Hot Dog for him to go behind him as he worked. I'm like that's a big deal they commissioned a work of art JUST FOR YOU! He was really excited and I was excited for him. My uncle has always taken chances, he's 30 something years in the food game. His Munchy Dawg Dream was birthed many years ago and he has continued to work it, even when it looked crazy, or even it wasn't cool to be a black man with a hot dog stand, or an Orbit donut, Carmel Apple slices, or funnel cakes, or ice creams, or Munchy s Burgers on ( Normandie and 96th) I think the sign is still there or ice cream ) his ice cream business is called Cool Time. The point of the matter is NEVER GIVE UP. Here's a little Munchy History the infamous Munchy Cart that my uncle has is a vintage cart all the way from Chicago. It is ONE of if 20 carts ever made in 1985. When he bought the cart the guy who was selling it told him it seems like I bought this cart JUST FOR YOU. Believe me when I say God has surprises stored up waiting just for you. He loves us ALL just that much.

Wow! Munchy Dawgs hit the spot! My little one couldn't get enough of it! Definitely coming back for more soon.
